It's been almost three weeks, five cities, and too many hours lost in travel to count since my last blogging confessional. Jamie, please forgive me.
The summer travel has fully kicked into gear, and I am officially living out of a suitcase again. Nick and I spent an amazing weekend in Lake Michigan to ring in a friend's 30th birthday, and I finally got my day of tourism in Chicago. It only took me four trips to do so. I had three whole days back at home in Austin before I set off again to Seattle for our first wedding of the summer. A quick hop, skip, and jump over to Spokane provided some much needed time with both families and finally hanging out with Tiffany after our torturous year-long distance relationship ;) Being careful not to get too comfortable in the 'Kan, almost as soon as I arrived, I left again for Portland and Ericka and Rohn's wedding at a winery in Forest Grove. One red-eye flight later (of which I have learned never to do again!) and I was back in Austin preparing for this week's work conference in San Antonio.
Phew! This time, I'm home for a full four days and then I jet for the real vaca! A Trailer girl's trip to Napa and CA wine country (leaving all work responsibilities behind). I cannot wait!
