Dream Living

Ever since I picked up this month's Country Living, I haven't been able to stop dreaming about Lizzie Carney's home which was featured in a piece called "Living Large" (insert irony here: her place is only 1000 square feet). It hosts all the elements I LOVE in a house - Vintage charm, unique fixtures, a splash or two of pink, and tons of texture.

I love her unique usage of rooms. Instead of assigning her bonus room to an office or guest room, she's opted for an uber indulgent oversized closet. Heart!

She turned her basement into cellar storage and a formal dining room. This is a perfectly romantic setting for hosting a dinner guest or five. And a smart alternative to using up prime living space on the main floor for a room so infrequently enjoyed.

Move over apartment! This is my inspiration for the next place I call home.
