I don't have much on the itinerary for France quite yet; of course the Eiffel Tower, Versailles, 31 rue Cambon, an art museum or two, and many visits to various pâtisseries. I envision myself spending most of my trip just soaking in the culture, language, and history around me.
After a few days in Paris, I'm off to Amsterdam to meet up with my family for the second half of this fabulous vacation.
I think traveling in the heart of Autumn is going to be such a beautiful time of year to visit! I can't wait!

Sigh...I wish I could tell you where to go, but I've never been! Super jealous, but so happy for you that you get to go! Can't wait to see pics from your travels!
I loved Sacre Coeur in Paris. The views were beautiful, and they had an outdoor market nearby that was one of my favorite parts of my trip. I hear if you go during the day it can be a bit touristy, but I was there in the afternoon/early evening and it felt like there were more locals than tourists. Can't wait to hear all about your trip!
Ditto on the Sacre Coeur, and for sure the Musee d'Orsay (love even more than the Louvre). And basically try every type of crepe possible! Have fun!
