Blast from the Past

A brief summary from a nice little letter I received today regarding my Jeep's "run-in" with city property in 2006:

Dear Miss Van Son,

Hello, how are you? I am well. I hear you've moved again, New Mexico this time was it? It's quite the change from all the cold and rain we have up here. It's been awhile since you've visited. My hopes are still up that you are planning to move back, you've really been missed.

Oh, by the way, please send a check for $22,000 for that silly little phone post you ran into 2 years ago.
