My newest house project is the guest bedroom/ office, formerly known as the box storage unit. Now that work and the company have rolled into full force, I need someplace to dedicate work time aside from the couch and my bed (not the optimal work space). I decided to pull out all the stops in terms of design and inspiration. Color scheme and decorations rules have been eliminated, leaving me the opportunity to go creatively crazy. So far, the room is resembling a Pottery Barn playroom, but in all honesty, it's quickly turning into my favorite room of the house. Who knows, maybe the office will help inspire me to conceptualize and write my first novel... fingers crossed.
As promised, some shots of the newest shade of red hair, incidentally taken in the office before weekend remodels began. Please notice the surplus of boxes in the background in addition to the custom houndstooth balloon window valance (i.e. fitted sheet covering the window)
