So I officially made it one day longer than my original record. I cleansed for 4 days before I broke down and had a salad. It didn't help that all last week during filming there was a plethora of food available to munch on... or that I spent the majority of those days waiting around while each scene was set up. Plus, coming home just meant Nick wandering around the house, asking me to go to dinner or make something.
I lost about four lbs. and have kick started things for Spring. This cleanse was a good reminder of how little food I actually need during the day. So often I eat out of boredom or because it feels like meal time. Now, I wait until I actually feel hungry, and then eat a fraction of what I used to. (Weight Watchers reminder: your stomach is only the size of your fist) I'm also eating less dairy products and meat, two things that aren't exactly healthy for me.
I'm keeping the same goal for Kentucky Derby time, well aware that it is only a few weeks away!
