I was on the phone with my friend Amee this morning who I can always count on to provide great dating stories. I think I have high appreciation for this because I used to be the girl my friends lived vicariously through for crazy dating recaps.
She recently broke up with her boyfriend whose hair reminded me of Gene Wilder. And though I never told her this, he was way below her league (I happen to subscribe to a very detailed dating numbers theory which I'm sure I'll get into in a later post). She is now dating a new guy, "her rebound", which she was quick to clarify that it's uncertain whether he is aware of this. I asked if she had a picture posted online at all, thinking there might be one on her Myspace page. True to LA, she told me I could just look him up on IMDB.com
Right.... of course! How quickly I forgot that more Angelenos have IMDB profiles that California drivers licenses. Just one more example of what an anomaly LA is (and how much I miss it!)
