On my way back to New Mexico, Emily (also known as my GPS system) decided to take me on a unique route home. Instead of following the 10 all the way to Las Cruces, she led me on the US 60/70 "Old West" Highway. Initially, I was hesitant about the trip since it seemed like I would find myself mostly on a 2 lane road. However, the drive proved to be a nice detour from the usual boring interstate.The Old West Highway zigs and zags through Arizona canyons and old towns that still have quite quaint historic districts.
Lynsday, I promise next time we'll snap a shot while we are still out and about and looking cute (not the very end of the night in our jammies ;)
