There is something so romantic and classic about train travel. It's a fraction of the stress that the airlines are and so much cheaper than driving the distance. The seats are roomier, there are outlets for my laptop, and the stations are always so quaint!
When I lived in Seattle, I frequently took the train back and forth to Vancouver. Today I'm leaving Eugene for Portland. The grandparents are caught up fixing the MoHo (thanks Marty for the new nickname) and I'm too eager to be home and with my parents.
For the next two hours I'll be relaxing traffic free looking out at all the green. It is SO nice to be back in the rainy Northwest.
