Long Time Gone

I’ve been in Boise the last couple days scouting for a new show location with the GPs. It’s been quite awhile since I’ve been back here and the trip has been a bit surreal.
It’s funny going back to a place after a period of time, I noticed things I was oblivious to before. Like the fact that Boise is very passionate about reading and books.
Not just the library, but LIBRARY!


I also finally pinned down where my fear of birds began: the geese in Julia Davis park on the green belt of the Boise River. I used to park here everyday for classes at BSU. Not only are they notoriously mean (and hiss at you) but they always travel in large groups and leave droppings EVERYWHERE… not a good combination when you’re late for school and have to run through the grass in flip flops. Yuck.
At any rate, it was nice to visit and recall times past. Today we’re off to Colorado via Salt Lake City. Perhaps I’ll have a religious experience to blog about next time ;)
