Let Them Eat Cake

Today I turn 26, or as I prefer to look at it, 24 for the third time.

This past year was quite tumultuous with two moves, a LOT of travel, dropping out of FIDM, returning and graduating from FIDM, and an all around reevaluation of my career and future path. I'm happy to report that things are falling into place and although it's been a bumpy ride, I seem to be on the right track.

I'm a firm believer that birthdays are more about thanking the woman who did all the work to get me into this world (after all, what effort did I put forth?) So, THANKS MOM!!

And thanks to everyone for the phone calls, texts, dorkspace comments, and emails. I know I'm not an easy person to keep track of, so it means a lot that you found me somehow :)

I find myself one year older and not a bit more mature. I'm still the girl who makes irrational decisions at the spur of the moment. We all know I live for a great story. Maybe next year I'll start growing into my age.
