We are still working the No Face diet. This combined with a dog who has separation anxiety, equals the most inconvenient time for our garbage disposal to stop working. Finally fed up with the clogged sink and dishes, we Googled some dog friendly restaurants and took Gatsby out to his first restaurant. As any good "child" of mine should, he was extremely well behaved (I wish I could say the same for him home behavior), slept most of the time, and allowed all his fans to
pet him.

pet him.

Dog-friendly restaurants? What is this world coming to?!
Gatsby is adorable!
That picture on the bottom is so cute! I love how he's all stretched out...Too cute!
I'd like to get back to your someqwhat sad comments regarding visiting the Univ. of Texas, & that it made you feel a bit "out of place" and "oldish" - and that you're not sure that you've always made the right choices. I suppose people have a tendency to second-guess themselves at times, & then often the "what-ifs" come, as you said. I just want you to know that you are still a very young (and bright, 'though I won't tell you that!) person, and if you (ever) decide that you should go to law school, just know that dear old Dad and Mom are still here, and always will be there for you. One way or another, we'll get you though law school, if that's what you want to do - just let us know, and we'll discuss it. Finally, don't think of yourself of having failed in any way: you have a good job, you're doing well in life, and you still have a lot of life in front of you in which you can do a million things, included going to grad school or law school or whatever school. Your Mom and I also got our degrees later in life, and it has done both of us a world of good; just remember that it's never to late to "change course" and advance yourself in life.
