Sleepy in Seattle

The beginning of June, in my mind marks the start of summer. As I look outside, it's clear the rest of the world has not gotten this memo. I'm tired of being cold and rained on. I'm ready to come out of hibernation.

In order to survive to June 21st, the official start of summer, I'm really going to need to see these terms fulfilled:
  • A little more sun from Seattle
  • Motivation for working at home
  • A few less curves on this body of mine. Some diet suggestions are greatly appreciated (seriously, please comment, I'm having a hard time finding one)
  • A tan that was not sprayed on
  • To discover a new television series or two for watching during the summer hiatus
  • Eclipse to come out sooner than scheduled
  • A dog who decides that grass and the outdoors are the most appropriate places to potty. Better yet, a dog who learns to walk himself
  • Magic elves to keep the apartment clean
  • An assistant or intern to keep my calendar straight and prevent me from missing anymore 7:30 meetings
  • A brilliant idea or two to spark some passion and creativity at work and home
Should these conditions not be met, I can be found promptly escaping to a tropical paradise for an undisclosed amount of time.

(Some vespa driving lessons would also be appreciated, if it's not too much trouble)

Thank you world. Yours truly,
Carina

Diet suggestions: I suck at this, but I will try. It's not about a diet. It's about changing the way you eat for good. Small portions throughout the day. Always pairing a carb with a protein. Minimal carbs at dinner. I've seen people shed pounds and keep them off following this plan. If you're really serious about it, I know someone who would help you get started, keep track of it all, and help with suggestions for a minimal price compared to other nutritionists out there.

New TV: Do you watch So You Think You Can Dance? It just started. They are still doing try-outs. It is my summer obsession.

An assistant or intern: Will you pay? It could be my summer job! ;)

If you find answers to the rest of your questions, please let me know as I'm asking the same things daily.

Tiff,

Let's talk diet this weekend. I'm intrigued!

I watch SYTYCD, but not religiously. What nights/ time is it on? I've also recently discovered The Tudors on Netflix, it seems promising.

As for the Assistant, I can pay you in pizza... Yummmmm. It's practically the perfect summer job.
