Such A "Grown Up" Day

Whew... since this morning's post about my Internet excitement, I have had barely enough time to sit down for 5 minutes. After running some errands around town, I decided to once again swing into one of the three furniture stores in town to peruse. This visit marks my fourth trip to the store. The time had come to buck up and make some purchases. Below are the floor models of some pieces I picked up.

I've ALWAYS wanted an oversized brown leather chair This piece will be used as an entertainment center... Which of course involves a wine rack as well

I picked this hutch up at an artisan shop last weekend, it's imported from Mexico, I absolutely LOVE it!

My house is going to look SO adult, Yikes!!!

After returning home from the furniture store, and hooking up my router (all by myself...), I finished this "home owner of a day" by touching up the spots on the walls that Nick and I missed during our weekend of painting. (The color in the living room, incidentally, Nick likes to point out is the same color of the carpet... I prefer the term "sand").
I have had a few requests to send or post pictures of the house both inside and out. Since it is such a work in progress, I promise to post pictures but probably not until it is almost done. The empty boxes and pictures strewn throughout the rooms don't quite represent my best work ;)
