If you haven’t already heard, today is the last day to send packages through the Postal Service for guaranteed delivery before Christmas. True to form, I still have two boxes sitting right in my living room waiting to be sent out.
At 65 degrees, LA is far from what most people consider cold; although ask anyone who lives here and their teeth will be chattering. I do have to admit it does get pretty chilly at night, especially with the latest development in our apartment, no heat. Unit 408 might be the only place it will snow in LA this year.

This is a shot I took a couple days ago in Beverly Hills of the town’s Christmas tree on Rodeo. I can’t help but think that cold-weather themed decorations look completely out of place here. I’m not sure Frosty has ever made a real appearance in the Hills. He may want to consider slimming down just a tad if he ever decides to do so ;)
My vote is to replace the evergreens altogether with decorated palm trees. There is SO much more room for presents under them!
